Music Theatre Projects Ltd are creating a bespoke tourable product for rural and regional venues. The end goal is full production of four one act plays written by Millicent Armstrong.
The next step in this journey will be a one-off performance to officially launch Millicent Armstrong’s plays back into the public domain, at Goulburn Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) on the evening of Sat 1st October 2022, part of the inaugural Festival of Regional Theatre (FORT).
Then we’ll present the plays on Sunday 2nd October in the afternoon on the shearing competition stands at Gunning Showground, and Monday 3rd October in the arvo at the Gunning Court House.

With a cast of 6 fine actors, we’ll present 3 of the short plays as staged readings. The fourth, a beautiful and tragic duet, will be performed off book.
An incredible atmosphere, a minimalistic production, enhanced by a cinematic soundtrack creating a powerful sense on mood and place – each play with its own distinct mood, from gothic to ghostly, hilarious to harrowing.
